rel=\"noopener\">Israeli<\/a>\u00a0forces killed three\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.middleeasteye.net\/countries\/palestine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palestinians<\/a>\u00a0early on Tuesday morning in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, the Palestinian health ministry announced.<\/p><p>The Israeli army also confirmed the killings, alleging that the three Palestinians opened fire towards soldiers near the Israeli settlements on Mount Gerizim, in the vicinity of Nablus.<\/p><p>According to the Palestinian news source,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arab48.com\/%D9%81%D9%84%D8%B3%D8%B7%D9%8A%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA\/%D8%A3%D8%AE%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B1\/2023\/07\/25\/%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AC%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B6%D9%81%D8%A9-%D9%88%D8%A5%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%B5-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%84-%D9%82%D8%B1%D8%A8-%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%84%D8%B3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arab48<\/a>, Israeli ambulances came to the scene and took the three bodies away.<\/p><p>Palestinian ambulances were stopped by Israeli forces from reaching the three victims &#8211; whose identities are yet to be confirmed.<\/p><p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arab48.com\/%D9%81%D9%84%D8%B3%D8%B7%D9%8A%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA\/%D8%A3%D8%AE%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B1\/2023\/07\/25\/%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AC%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B6%D9%81%D8%A9-%D9%88%D8%A5%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%B5-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%84-%D9%82%D8%B1%D8%A8-%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%84%D8%B3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eyewitness<\/a>\u00a0accounts, the Israeli army sprayed the vehicle the three Palestinians were travelling in with a hail of bullet fire for almost ten minutes.<\/p><p>The Israeli army alleges that there was an exchange of fire between the two sides and, following a search of the vehicle, further weapons were found.<\/p><p>Palestinian\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arab48.com\/%D9%81%D9%84%D8%B3%D8%B7%D9%8A%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA\/%D8%A3%D8%AE%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B1\/2023\/07\/25\/%D9%85%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AC%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B6%D9%81%D8%A9-%D9%88%D8%A5%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%B5-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%84-%D9%82%D8%B1%D8%A8-%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%84%D8%B3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eyewitnesses<\/a>, however, said that Israeli forces \u201cambushed\u201d the vehicle and went on to \u201cassassinate\u201d the young men.<\/p><p>Israeli forces went on to search a number of Palestinian homes and shops in the vicinity of the shooting\u00a0and,\u00a0according to reports from Arab48, confiscated CCTV footage.<\/p><p>It\u2019s unclear whether the footage captured the Israeli shoot-out.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section rarely investigates the killing of Palestinians by its troops, has been criticised by rights groups for its &#8220;shoot-to-kill&#8221; policy even when Palestinians pose no danger to soldiers.<\/p><p>A report in 2022 by the Israeli rights group Yesh Din found that less than one percent of soldiers accused of harming Palestinians between 2017-2021 were charged with crimes.<\/p><p>The military law enforcement authorities &#8220;systematically avoid investigating and prosecuting soldiers who harm Palestinians,&#8221; the group said.<\/p><p>At least 200 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire this year, including 34 children &#8211; a rate of nearly one fatality per day.<\/p><p>A total of 163 people died in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, while the remaining 36 were killed in the Gaza Strip.<\/p><p>Meanwhile, Palestinians have killed 25 Israelis in the same period, including six
